The Curriculum for this class was prepared by the Jewish Theological Seminary to facilitate conversions grappling with today’s most pressing ethical dilemmas. We will study and discuss the centrality of ethics to Jewish life and the sources of Jewish ethics. We will study and discuss ethics of global citizenship and public good including human trafficking, environmental ethics and food ethics. Personal and interpersonal ethics will cover a wide range of issues including the ethics of end of life directives, inclusion, relationships and honesty.
